Nexoverse supports student communities, organizers, events, and broader networks. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it when you use Nexoverse.
Effective 12 October 2026Last updated 19 October 2026
1. About This Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Nexoverse handles personal information when you visit nexoverse.in, create or use an account, join a community, create or attend an event, or use another feature connected to the platform. It applies to the website and its associated community and event services, to the extent those features are available in your deployment.
Nexoverse is the name used for the platform in this notice. No registered company name or separate legal entity is identified here. “Personal information” means information that identifies or relates to an identifiable person, as defined by applicable law.
2. Information You Provide
- Account and profile information: name, email address, password credentials handled by Firebase Authentication, sign-in provider identifiers, profile details and any optional profile fields you choose to provide. Google sign-in may provide basic account information such as your name and email.
- Community information: community details you create or manage, membership and role records, join dates, and information you submit when participating in a community.
- Event and registration information: event details you create, organizer information, registration details, answers to event-specific form questions, and attendance or check-in status. The information requested can vary by event and organizer.
- Content and files: profile images, community or event images, descriptions, and other information you upload or submit through an available feature. Do not submit sensitive personal information unless a feature clearly asks for it and you are authorized to provide it.
- Support communications: information you include when contacting us, such as your email address, account or event details, and the contents of your request.
Firebase Authentication processes sign-in credentials. Nexoverse application code does not need to read your password to use the authentication service.
3. Information Collected Through Use
When pages or features load, the website and its service providers may process technical information needed to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the service. Depending on the request and provider, this can include IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, timestamps, requested page or resource, referrer, and diagnostic or error information.
Google Analytics 4 is configured on selected pages. The analytics module can record page views and supported interactions with events and communities, including event category, free/paid status, or online/offline status. It also creates a random visitor identifier in browser local storage for analytics-event deduplication. Analytics providers may receive device, browser, referrer, page and identifier information according to their configuration.
The website does not use a site-wide cookie-consent banner or preference center. Analytics initialization on configured pages is not currently controlled by such an interface. See our Cookie Policy for details about browser storage and advertising technologies.
4. Authentication and Account Management
Accounts can be created or accessed through the sign-in methods shown in the product, including email/password and Google sign-in. Firebase Authentication manages authentication and the selected persistence behavior, including a “remember me” choice where presented. The browser stores the authentication state using the Firebase SDK’s supported persistence mechanism.
We use account and authentication information to identify your account, enable sign-in, maintain account security, and connect your profile with communities, events, registrations, and other activity. Keep your sign-in credentials private and contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
5. How We Use Information
Information is used, as applicable to the feature, to create and manage accounts; operate profiles, communities and memberships; publish and administer events; process registrations and attendance; provide requested functionality; respond to support requests; maintain security and investigate abuse; diagnose errors; understand usage; and improve the platform.
We do not use event registration data for unrelated purposes merely because an organizer can access it. Feature availability and the exact information processed depend on what you and the relevant organizer submit.
6. When Information Is Shared
Community and event organizers. Information needed to administer a community or event, such as registration details, registration-form responses and attendance status, may be available to the relevant organizer and authorized administrators. Community membership and content may be visible to other members or visitors according to the feature and its access settings. Organizers are responsible for handling information they receive appropriately.
Service providers. Nexoverse uses Google Firebase services, including Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Hosting and related infrastructure, to operate the platform. Google Analytics 4 provides analytics on configured pages. Google AdSense may load on pages with configured advertising placements. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices when their services are used.
Other disclosures. Information may be disclosed where necessary to respond to valid legal process, protect users or the service, investigate suspected unlawful activity, or enforce applicable terms. If the platform or its operations are reorganized, relevant information may be transferred subject to applicable law and safeguards.
7. Public Information and User Content
Some community, event, organizer or uploaded image information may be displayed publicly or to other users so the relevant feature can work. Image files stored for avatars, communities or events may be publicly readable. Do not upload material that you expect to remain private unless the feature clearly describes access restrictions. Account and registration records have separate access rules, but no online system can guarantee that every user or recipient will handle information correctly.
8. Analytics, Advertising and External Services
Google Analytics 4 is used on pages that load the analytics module; it is not necessarily initialized on every page. Google AdSense is configured for a placement on the Student Ambassador Programs page. An AdSense placement does not mean every visitor sees an advertisement or that AdSense is loaded on every page.
Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to select and measure ads. Depending on settings and applicable consent signals, advertising cookies may support ads based on a user's previous visits to this site or other sites. You can review Google's Ads Settings or the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page for available choices. Those controls are operated by third parties and do not control other Nexoverse data processing.
This site does not currently have a configured consent-management platform. We have not verified that legally required consent or advertising signals are collected and passed for users in the EEA, UK or Switzerland. Google requires a Google-certified CMP integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework when serving personalized ads in those regions. No statement here represents that the current ad setup meets those requirements.
Signing in with Google, using Firebase, or visiting an external link such as TaskVerse or a social network may involve processing by that provider under its own policies. Nexoverse does not control the privacy practices of third-party services. Review the relevant provider's terms and privacy notices before using them.
9. Sale and Retention
Nexoverse does not sell personal information. We retain account, community, event, registration, content and support information for as long as needed to operate the applicable feature, maintain records, address disputes or security issues, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods can vary by record and provider; a fixed deletion schedule has not been established for every data type.
The current application does not provide a functioning self-service account-deletion or data-export tool. A settings-page export control does not currently produce a data export, and the account-removal flow directs users to contact support. You may email hello@nexoverse.in to request access, correction, erasure or other assistance. We will review the request, verify it where appropriate, and respond subject to applicable law, technical capability, records held by service providers, and legitimate retention requirements. We cannot promise a particular deletion or response time in this notice.
10. Security
We use access controls and Firebase security rules to restrict access to certain account, community, event and registration records, and apply controls to supported image uploads. No internet service, transmission or storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security; protect your credentials and contact us if you suspect misuse.
11. Your Requests and Applicable Indian Law
Depending on the law applicable to you and the provisions in force, you may be entitled to:
- request information about personal data processed about you and how it is being used;
- request correction, completion or updating of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request erasure where the law provides that right and continued retention is not required;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, subject to legal requirements and processing that took place before withdrawal;
- raise a privacy grievance and, where provided by applicable law, nominate another person to exercise rights in specified circumstances; and
- ask us to review another privacy concern or request available account assistance.
We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and clarify the request. This notice does not promise a particular result, response time or self-service capability.
Rights and procedures depend on the law applicable to you and in force at the relevant time. This includes applicable requirements under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it, and provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 as and when brought into force through applicable commencement notifications. Those instruments include phased commencement and transition provisions. This policy is not a representation that every provision is currently operative or that Nexoverse has completed every compliance requirement. Contact hello@nexoverse.in with “Privacy request” in the subject line. This email is a contact channel, not a representation that a formally appointed grievance officer exists.
12. Children and Age
The public registration flow does not currently verify a user's age or collect verifiable parental consent. The service is not intended for children under 18 to register or use without a parent or legal guardian's involvement and any consent or safeguards required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information without the required authorization, contact hello@nexoverse.in so we can review the report. We do not promise that all child-related legal requirements have been implemented.
13. International Processing
Firebase, Google Analytics and AdSense are third-party services whose infrastructure or support operations may process information in locations outside India, depending on the service, account configuration and provider operations. We have not verified or established a location for every type of information processed by each provider. Applicable provider safeguards and legal requirements may apply; contact us for questions about a particular service.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy when the platform, its data practices or applicable requirements change. The “Last updated” date above identifies the current version. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or another appropriate channel where required. Continued use after an updated policy is posted is subject to applicable law and does not replace any consent that the law requires.
