Terms of Service
Clear terms for a connected ecosystem.
These terms outline the rules for using Nexoverse, your responsibilities, and the limits that keep the platform reliable for student communities, organizers, event attendees, and broader networks.
Effective 12 October 2026Last updated 12 October 2026
1. Agreement and Updates
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Nexoverse at nexoverse.in and the community and event features made available through it. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The Terms are effective and last updated on the date shown above. We may revise them as the platform or applicable requirements change. We will update the date and, where required, give notice or obtain any required agreement. Continued use after a change takes effect is subject to applicable law.
2. The Nexoverse Service
Nexoverse is a community ecosystem platform intended to help users discover, create and manage communities; manage membership and organizer roles; create and publish events; register attendees; and support event attendance and check-in. The features available to you depend on your account, permissions, deployment and the current state of the platform.
Some displayed features, integrations or workflows may be incomplete, unavailable, experimental or planned. A description or listing is not a promise that a feature is operational or will remain available.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms and provide accurate information when creating and using an account. Sign-in methods shown in the service include email/password and Google sign-in through Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure, using your account lawfully, and promptly notifying us at hello@nexoverse.in if you suspect unauthorized access.
The public registration flow does not currently verify age or obtain verifiable parental consent. The service is not intended for a person under 18 to register or use it without a parent or legal guardian's involvement and any consent or safeguards required by applicable law. Do not use the service if you cannot meet the age and consent requirements applicable to you. Contact us if you have questions about access by a minor.
You may not impersonate another person, share an account in a way that compromises security, or create an account using information you are not authorized to use.
4. Communities and Membership
Users may create or administer communities where the feature is available, request or accept membership, and participate according to the community's access settings and rules. Community administrators are responsible for the accuracy of information they publish, the permissions they grant, and the way they use member information.
Membership, roles and community content may be visible to other members or the public depending on the feature and its settings. Do not treat information submitted to a community as private unless the service expressly indicates that it is restricted.
5. Events, Registration and Attendance
Organizers are responsible for event descriptions, dates, venue or online details, eligibility, capacity, registration questions, and communications to attendees. When you register, you must provide accurate information and may be asked to answer organizer-defined form questions. Organizers and authorized administrators may use registration responses and check-in or attendance information to administer the event.
Event listings, registration status and attendance records can change. Verify event details with the organizer and follow any event-specific instructions. Nexoverse does not guarantee that an event will proceed or that an organizer will deliver a particular experience.
6. User Content and Organizer Responsibilities
“User Content” includes information and materials you submit or upload, such as profile details, community and event descriptions, images, registration responses, and other content submitted through an available feature. You retain rights you hold in your User Content. You give Nexoverse a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, store, reproduce, format, display, transmit and otherwise use that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure and provide the feature you chose and to comply with law. This permission ends when the content is removed from active service, subject to backups, records and legal retention.
You represent that you have the rights and authority needed to submit the content and grant this permission. Do not upload content that infringes another person's rights, exposes personal information without authority, or violates law. Some profile, community, event and image information may be publicly accessible.
Where organizers collect attendee information, they must provide any notices, obtain any permissions and use or protect that information as required by law. Organizers must limit access to people who need it to administer the event or community and must not use attendee information for unrelated purposes without an appropriate basis.
7. Acceptable Use
You must not use Nexoverse to:
- break applicable law, violate these Terms, or infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights;
- harass, threaten, exploit, discriminate against, defraud or harm another person, or publish unlawful, deceptive or abusive material;
- impersonate a person or organization, misrepresent an event, falsify attendance or registrations, or conduct a scam;
- attempt unauthorized access, bypass security or access controls, interfere with the service, distribute malware, or probe or disrupt another user's account or data;
- scrape, copy, harvest or use personal information or service content beyond what is permitted by law and the feature's intended use; or
- use the service to send spam, make unauthorized commercial solicitations, or otherwise impair the experience or safety of users.
8. Moderation and Content Removal
Nexoverse may, but is not obligated to, review, restrict or remove content or limit access where reasonably necessary to operate the platform, respond to a report, enforce these Terms, protect users or comply with law. We do not promise to review all content or endorse organizer or user statements. You can report a concern by emailing hello@nexoverse.in.
9. Intellectual Property
Nexoverse and its licensors retain rights in the platform software, design, text, graphics, logos, name and other platform materials, except for User Content and third-party materials. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you. You may use the service only for its intended purposes and may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer or commercially exploit platform materials except where law permits or we authorize it in writing.
“Nexoverse” branding and logos may not be used in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation without permission. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.
10. Third-Party Services and Links
The platform relies on third-party services, including Firebase and Google sign-in, analytics or advertising services on configured pages. The site may also link to external services such as TaskVerse and social networks. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. Nexoverse does not control and is not responsible for their independent content, availability, security or practices. Your use of them is at your discretion.
11. Fees, Payments, Cancellations and Refunds
An event listing may display a price or indicate that an event is paid. The current Nexoverse implementation reviewed for these Terms does not establish an in-platform checkout, payment-processing, refund or organizer-settlement service. A displayed price does not mean Nexoverse has received money, guarantees an organizer payout, or has agreed to a platform commission or refund arrangement.
If an organizer asks you to pay using an external provider or separate arrangement, check the organizer's and payment provider's terms before paying. Any payment, cancellation, refund or dispute is subject to the terms actually presented for that transaction and applicable law. Nexoverse makes no promise of payment protection, a refund, or settlement to an organizer. Any future payment feature will be subject to separately published terms before it is used.
12. Availability, Changes and Technical Limits
We work to operate the service but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or secure availability. Features may be changed, suspended, limited or discontinued for maintenance, security, legal, operational or product reasons. Data may be delayed, unavailable or affected by network, browser, provider or configuration issues. Keep independent copies of content you are entitled to retain; do not rely on Nexoverse as your sole recordkeeping system.
13. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend or end access, or remove content, where reasonably necessary for a suspected breach, security risk, legal requirement, abuse prevention or service operation. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will consider the circumstances and provide notice. You may stop using the service at any time. The current application does not provide a functioning self-service account-deletion control; contact hello@nexoverse.in for account-related assistance. Ending access does not necessarily immediately remove records from backups or records we must retain.
14. Disclaimers and Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, meet every user's needs, or ensure the conduct, accuracy, availability or performance of an organizer, attendee or third-party provider. This section does not exclude any warranty, duty or right that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Nexoverse will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform, third-party services, an event or user content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury where such limitation is prohibited, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. You remain responsible for your use of the service and for verifying event arrangements directly with the organizer.
15. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for losses, claims and reasonable costs directly caused by your unlawful conduct, material breach of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights. This does not require you to indemnify Nexoverse for Nexoverse's own unlawful conduct or for liability that cannot lawfully be shifted to you.
16. Governing Law and Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to mandatory consumer, privacy and other legal protections that apply to you. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts competent under applicable law; these Terms do not nominate a particular court or city.
